EAN letters to United Nations High Commissioner for rights

Dear High Commissioner:
We, members of the Ethiopian Advocacy Network (EAN), are writing to implore the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to open an investigation into the massive human rights violations against peaceful protesters committed by the current Ethiopian regime. Specifically, we strongly advocate the appointment of a Special Rapporteur to investigate the ongoing egregious human rights violations in Ethiopia, similar to the inquiry conducted by the UN Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Arbitrary or Summary Executions in Kenya following the post-election violence in December 2007 and January 2008.
While the abuses and flagrant human rights violations committed by the Ethiopian government have been well documented by independent and respected human rights organizations such as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and the Committee to Protect Journalists, there has been no concerted international action to hold the regime accountable for the systematic and widespread extrajudicial killings and politically motivated arrests and imprisonments undertaken on a regular basis by the Ethiopian security forces. Some of these actions are widely considered crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing.
The following evidences reiterate some of the few government sanctioned killings:
100 Sidamos were massacred in 2001
200 Mazengers were killed in Gambella in July 2002
424 Anukas in Gambella were massacred in December 2003
193 Ethiopians ranging in age from 14-75 were brutally killed during civil
demonstrations and 30,000 civilians were arrested between June & November
2005, according to the final report of the independent Inquiry Commission set by
the Ethiopian Parliament
Thousands of ethnic Somalis in the Ogaden region of Ethiopia have been killed by
Ethiopian security forces and the Liyu Police, a rogue group, similar to the
Sudanese Janjaweed militia
On June 15, 2016 Human Rights Watch (HRW) released a 6o page report on the recent protests in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. The report meticulously describes how state security forces have used excessive and lethal force to respond to the roughly 500 protests, killing an estimated 400 people and injuring thousands, many of them young students. Security forces have also arrested tens of thousands of people, some for short periods.
The Ethiopian regime continues to act with impunity because it rightly believes that it faces no accountability from both its repressed citizens and the international community. It is our opinion that the intervention of a highly regarded and influential office such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is critical towards ensuring that the causes of justice and respect for international human rights laws are not disregarded when it comes to Ethiopia.
We understand that the Special Rapporteur on The Rights to Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and of Association, Maina Kiai has sent request letters to Ethiopia in 2011 and 2013. We are also cognizant of the fact that the government refuses to extend an official invitation for obvious reasons.
In light of the facts detailed in the report from HRW, we are requesting an immediate investigation into the gross and persistent violence against citizens committed by the Ethiopian government. We urge you to take up this matter with the utmost seriousness and urgency that it deserves and act on our request to appoint a Special Rapporteur to investigate the deliberate and reckless use of citizen abuse as an institutionalized method of governance.
At the Opening of the 4th Human Rights Council Session on March 12, 2007 Ban Kimoon, UN Secretary-General noted, “All victims of human rights abuses should be able to look to the Human Rights Council as a forum and a springboard for action.”
It is time for the global community to respond with a formal investigation on behalf of these victims and their families.

The Auditor General says government offices fail to balance book in the amount of over 100 million dollars

The Ethiopian Auditor General said of the 145 government offices audited, 94 have not balanced their book in the amount of over 100 million dollars while 77 offices were found to have made illegal purchases in the amount of over 27 million dollars.

Presenting his report to the parliament, the auditor general, Gemechu Dubiso said the Government Procurement Office, the Ministry of Education, the Electoral Board and the Ministry of Defense, among others, were the main government offices that have not balanced their book in the said amount.

He said a number of universities, health institutions, industries, and the Ministry of Transport have made illegal purchases amounting to 27 million dollars.

In addition, six offices have made payments in the amount of over 1 million dollars without the proper documentation.

Governing the state of Ethiopia used to be uncomplicated. Citizens were, and still are, generally docile, or rather kept docile.

But in the past months things have become more tumultuous. In many parts of Oromya local leaders and activists are threading identity politics to contest the lacuna of political representation. Their inability to pressure the government to make decision in their favor is posing a direct threat to the integrity of the Ethiopian state. Remember TPLF forty years back!

Yes, such events can be circular if not addressed properly.
The problem with identity (or ethnic) politics is that it is one-sided and undialectical. It treats identities as static entities; such politics, even when “successful,” necessarily ends at the limits of identity itself. And once set, it remains a trap from which no one escapes.

Obviously the issue of identity is a rather complex one. It has, and continues to occupy the global minds of academics and policy makers alike. Let me say at the outset I know no more about identity politics than I do about my neighbor’s Bajaj. But these days I have spent some time thinking about it. I know how important identity is for many of us. I know it’s also part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Our current model of identity, for example, comprises a list of overlapping identities. You are from Addis Ababa, or Oromya, or Welayta, or Dire Dawa…but you also are from Ethiopia, Africa, Planet Earth. The question we all leave unanswered is which of the identities, if any, has priority. By which identity do we want to be identified by others? Which identity might we be entitled to betray in order to save the others. Here we certainly don’t have any answer.

I don’t know about you, I like to identify myself as an Ethiopian who speaks Amharic. I know a friend who likes to say ‘I am Afar by nation, but Ethiopian by citizenship’, and another who insists ‘I am an Oromo. Period.’

Question: is there a unifying Ethiopian Culture?

I doubt it. But the variety of nationalities that express their culture in Ethiopia allow for the toleration and acceptance of what makes us different, and because of those differences, our society is enhanced.

In the old days, the story goes, people would ask a stranger: ‘Where do you come from’…and he or she will answer from Sekota, or Urso, or Shahemene. Today people are more often asked who they are – an overloaded question… and it looks that they are increasingly becoming closed, insular, and conservative, uninterested in building unity in our diverse societies. We probably are far from living through an identity (or ethnic) crisis, but the confusion is there, and it makes people insecure and unsure of their future.

It is fair to say, and many observers come to the same conclusion, the current union of Ethiopia’s nations and nationalities is moving along in gradual steps. It is not tidy or symmetrical in its progress. It’s best expressed in the idea of an imposed compact between nine nations (plus many other groupings,) and should therefore be no surprise if confusion exists over identity. The least we can do then is to strive to ensure for all respect for human rights, equity and responsibility.

Today’s grand experiment of Ethiopia’s polity encourages nation and nationalities to maintain the multiple identities which are natural to most of us, with autonomy for self direction and development (at least on paper). The early signs of this experiment have not been atrocious, as many had predicted. To a large extent the system has delivered peace, unity, and development. Yet in spite of what seems like encouraging results, today the common folk in Oromya is frustrated – unemployment, underemployment, peewee wages, unfair distribution of wealth… So they run to the streets to break and build a ‘fire wall’ around resource rich Oromya.

Will they succeed? On breaking things: YES; on building a ‘fire wall’: we don’t know. What we know, however, is that many in Oromya feel alienated. They feel left out in the cold by such policies favoring those smart people close to the “bank cartels” or with “political connections”. They feel angered by practices that enrich a small layer of ‘outsiders’ who are good at using government to get wealth and power for themselves. Their complaints is about not being full partners in the government, and not fully sharing in the spoils of power. Now that they have understood how the system works, they don’t want to be taken for fools any more.

So what is the government doing about it? So far it’s using force to quell the disturbances. We doubt this will prevent the next eruption.

Man seeks asylum after surviving flight in plane hold

Staff at Stockholm's Arlanda airport found the 27-year-old man on board a plane arriving from Ethiopia, with police later confirming that he had asked for asylum in the Nordic country.

Emergency services were called to Sweden's largest airport on Monday morning after the plane touched down in the Swedish capital from Addis Ababa and the stowaway was discovered on board.

"He was exhausted but alive," Albin Näverberg, a press spokesperson for Stockholm police told the TT news agency.

"We know that he has travelled in the container from the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa without any stops. It's a pretty long journey," added his colleague Carina Skagerlind.

The flight time for journeys between Addis Ababa and Stockholm is typically around eight hours.

Asked if police were looking into the possibility that the man had been smuggled to Sweden, Skagerlind said: "We have not come so far in the investigation. First we need to find out how this happened".

The spokesperson added that the man had been able to access oxygen during the trip, but she would not comment on the goods or materials that were supposed to have been stored in the container he travelled in.

Arlanda is Sweden's largest and busiest airport, with flights to more than 180 destinations.

It is not the first time that an asylum seeker has been discovered hiding inside freight arriving at the Scandinavian travel hub.

Last August another man in his 20's was also found alive after making the same journey from Ethiopia to Sweden.

Asylum applications from Ethiopians boomed in 2015, shooting up by 140 percent during the first seven months, compared to the same period during the previous year.

በደቡብ ምዕራብ ቴፒ ከተማ የተቀሰቀሰውን አስተዳደራዊ አለመግባባት ተከትሎ ቁጥሩ ከፍተኛ የሆነ የፌዴራል ፖሊስና የመከላከያ ሰራዊት አባላት በአካባቢው መስፈሩ ተገለጠ።

በከተማዋ ላይ የተነሳው የይገባኛል አስተዳደራዊ ጥያቄ ስምምነት ባለማግኘቱ በርካታ ሰዎች በተቃውሞ ጫካ መግባታቸውንና ድርጊቱ በከተማዋ ውጥረት ማንገሱን በሃገር ውስጥ ያሉ መገናኛ ብዙሃን ዘግበዋል።

ከባለፈው ሳምንት ጀምሮ ከሚዛን ተፈሪ ወደ ቴፒ፣ ከሸሸንዳ ከተማ ወደ ቴፒ፣ ከሚሻ ከተማ ወደቴፒ የሚወስዱ መንገዶች በሙሉ በፌዴራል ፖሊስና በመከላከያ ሰራዊት አባላት ቁጥጥር እየተደረገባቸው እንደሚገኝ ታውቋል።

በንግድ እንቅስቃሴዋ የምትታወቀው የቴፒ ከተማም ከወትሮ በተለየ መልኩ የስጋት ቀጠና ሆና መሰንበቷን የተከተማዋ ነዋሪዎች ተናግረዋል።

በይፋ የተገለጸ የሰዓት እላፊ ገደብ ባይኖርም የከተማዋ ነዋሪዎች ከምሽቱ 12 ሰዓት በኋላ መንቀሳቀስ እንደማይፈቀድላቸው ከሃገር ቤት የተገኘው መረጃ አመልክቷል።

ቴፒ ከተማ የምትገኝበት የኪ ወረዳን ለማስተዳደር በሸኮ ብሄረሰብ ተወላጆችና በሸካ ብሄረሰብ ተወላጆች መካከል ፖለቲካዊ ጥያቄ መነሳቱንና ችግሩ እልባት አለማግኘቱን የከተማዋ አስተዳደር ይገልጻል።

ይሁንና ድርጊቱ በከተማው ነዋሪ ዘንድ ቅሬታ መፍጠሩን ነዋሪዎችን ዋቢ በማድረግ መገናኛ ብዙሃን ዘግበዋል።

የተፈጠረው ችግር ፖለቲካዊ መፍትሄን እንደሚፈልግ የገለጹት ነዋሪዎች፣ የፀጥታ ችግሩን ለመቅረፍ በተጠሩ መድረኮች አስተያየት የሰጡ ሰዎች ላይ እርምጃ መውሰዱን አስረድተዋል።

“በአደባባይ ሃሳብን መግለፅ በራስ እንደመፍረድ ይቆጠራል” ሲሉ ነዋሪዎቹ የችግሩን አሳሳቢነት ገልፀዋል። ከአመታት በፊት ጀምሮ በከተማዋ የአስተዳደራዊ ጥያቄዎች ሲነሱ መቆየታቸው ይታወሳል።

ባለፈው አመት የቴፒ ወህኒ ቤትን የሰበሩ ታጣቂዎች የፖሊስ አዛዡን ጨምሮ አራት ፖሊሶች በመግደል እስረኞቹን ይዘው ወደጫካ መግባታቸው ይታወሳል። የመንግስት ሃይሎች ከእነዚህ ታጣቂዎች ጋር ለመደራደር ያደረጉት ሙከራ በድምፅ ተቀርጾ ለኢሳት መድረሱንና ይህም መዘገቡ አይዘነጋም።

ዜጎች እርዳታ እንዲደረግላቸው እየጠየቁ ቢሆንም እስካሁን በቂ ምላሽ ሊሰጣቸው አልቻለም

በአማራ፣ በትግራይ ፣ በሶማሊ፣ በደቡብና በአፋር የእለት ደራሽ ምግብ የሚጠይቁ ዜጎች ቁጥር እየጨመረ ሲሆን፣ በአንዳንድ አካባቢዎች ህጻናት በአልሚ ምግብ እጥረት የተነሳ ለበሽታ እየተዳረጉ በመሞት ላይ ናቸው፡፡የረሃቡ ሁኔታ አስከፊ እየሆነ ቢመጣም በመንግስት ባለስልጣናት በኩል የሚሰጠው መግለጫ እርስ በርስ የሚጣረስ በመሆኑ፣ በተረጅዎች ህይወት ላይ ተጽኖ እያሳረፈ ነው።
በአማራ ክልል 69 ወረዳዎች በድርቅ የተጠቁ ሲሆን፣ ባለፈው መስከረም ወር በተደረገ ጥናት 1 ሚሊዮን 400 ሰዎች አስቸኳይ የምግብ እርዳታ እንደሚሹ ቢገልጽም፣ ይህ አሀዝ በመጪው ወር ይፋ በሚደረው ጥናት ላይ በእጥፍ ጨምሮ እንደሚገለጽ መረጃዎች ያመለክታሉ። የክልል አደጋ መከላከል ዝግጁነት ኮሚሽን ኃላፊ አቶ ሽለስ ተመስገን በአንዳንድ አካባቢዎች በክረምቱ ወራት ለ2 ቀን ብቻ ዝናብ ማግኘታቸውን ተናግረዋል።
ወትሮ ዝናብ እጥረት አጋጥሟቸው የማያውቁት ወረዳዎች እንኳ የዝናብ እጥረት ያጋጠማቸው መሆኑን ባለስልጣኑ አልሸሸጉም። የዋግ ህምራ ሁሉም ወረዳዎች ፤ የሰሜን ጎንደር ምስራቃዊ ክፍል- በለሳ ፣ ጠለምት ፣ወገራ ፣ ጃን አሞራ ፣ የደቡብ ወሎ ሁሉም ወረዳዎች- መቅደላ ፣ አርጎባ ፣ ከላላ ፣ ከዚህ በፊት ተርበው የማያውቁት የምስራቅ ጎጃም የአባይ አዋሳኝ ስምንት ወረዳዎች በአጠቃላይ 800 ቀበሌዎች በርሃብ ውስጥ እንደሆኑ የክልሉ የአደጋ መከላከል ጽ/ቤት ማረጋገጫ ሰጥቷል፡፡
በዋግ ህምራ ስሃላ ወረዳ በአመት ውስጥ ሁለት ቀናት ብቻ ነው ዝናብ ያገኘው። ሰቆጣ ፤ አበርገሌ ፤ ደሃና በከፋ ሁኔታ በድርቅ ተጠቅተዋል። በሰሜን ወሎ፣ የራያ ሰፊ መሬት ዝናብ ካዬ በመክረሙ ከፍተኛ አደጋ ተደቅኖበታል። በክልሉ በድርቅ ከተጎዱት 69 ወረዳዎች መካካል 35 ቱ በከፋ ሁኔታ ላይ ሲገኙ 34ቱ ደግሞ በሁለተኛ ደረጃ ተጠቅተዋል። በሁለተኛ ደረጃ ተጠቂ የተባሉት ለሶስት ወራት የሚያቆይ የእህል ክምችት ያላቸው ናቸው፡፡
በአሁኑ ስዓት መንግስት ለአንድ ሰው 15 ኪሎ ግራም ስንዴ ወይም በቆሎ ለወር ደግሞ ግማሽ ሌትር ዘይት እያደለ መሆኑን ባለስልጣኑ ተናግረዋል።
በአሁኑ ስዓት ቀዳሚው ችግር የመጠጥ ውሃ እጥረት ነው ያሉት ኃላፊው፣ በምግብ እና የጤና ችግርም በውሃ እጥረት ምክንያት ከፍተኛ የንፅህና እና የውሃ ወለድ በሽታዎች ተከስተዋል ብለዋል፡፡
በአልሚ ምግብ እጥረት የተጎዱ እናቶች እና ህፃናት አሉ ያሉት ባለስልጣኑ ፣ ህፃናት በአልሚ ምግብ ችግር መሞታቸውንም ይፋ አድርገዋል በትግራይ ደግሞ ከ52 ወረዳዎች 36ቱ በድርቅ ተመተዋል። በክልሉ የሚሰጠው እርዳታ ከፖለቲካ ጋር መያያዙንም ተረጅዎች እየገለጹ ነው። የመንግስት እዳ እና የወይን ጋዜጣ ያልከፈሉ ሰዎች እርዳታ እንደማያገኙ እንደተገለጸላቸው ነዋሪዎች ይናገራሉ።
በሰሜን ጎንደር በዳባት ወረዳ ቦሲያ፣ አጋምዜና ሌሎችም ቀበሌዎች የተረጅውን ቁጥር ለማጥናት ለተላኩ ባለስልጣናት በሚል እያንዳንዱ ተረጅ በነፍስ ወከፍ 10 ብር እንዲያዋጣ ተገዶ፣ አጥኚዎች በግና ፍየል ታርዶላቸው ሲመገቡ መሰንበታቸውና ተረጅዎች ” ብዙዎቻችንን ሳይመዘግቡን ሄዱ” በሚል መበሳጨታቸውን ስማቸው እንዳይገለጽ የጠየቁ የአካባቢው ሰው ለኢሳት ገልጸዋል። ጥናቱን ለማካሄድ የተላኩት ከግብርና አቶ አስችሌ አሰፋ፣ ከከምግብ ዋስትና ወ/ሮ አስካለማርያም ተገኘ ፣ ከብአዴን የድርጅት ጉዳይ አቶ ሰጠኝ ንጉሴ እና ሁለት ሌሎች ተወካዮች ናቸው።
የተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት ሳምንታዊ ዘገባ ባወጣው መረጃ ደግሞ ድርቁ ከፈጠረው ቻና በተጨማሪ፣ 210 ሺ 600 ሰዎች በጎርፍ አደጋ ሊፈናቀሉ ይችላሉ ብሎአል።መንግስት የእርዳታ እህል በቅርቡ ስራ የጀመረውን ባቡር በመጠቀም ከጅቡቲ ወደ አዲስ አበባ ለማመላለስ ማቀዱን ገልጿል።

Saudi investors say Ethiopian govt officials ‘robbed’ them



RIYADH: Saudi investors have accused some Ethiopian government officials of robbing them of their land and equipment.
Mohammed Al-Shehri, who leads a body of investors in the African country, claimed that certain Ethiopian officials falsely accused him and others of criminal activities so that they could confiscate their property.
Al-Shehri was quoted as saying in a local publication that the alleged corruption was rife in certain areas, with some investors imprisoned and accused of forgery, and not allowed to bring their equipment back to Saudi Arabia.
He said that all farming operations of Saudi citizens in Ethiopia had come to a virtual standstill six years after their inception. The African country had failed to live up to promises made to investors, he said.
Al-Shehri said that 50 percent of Saudi investors in Ethiopia have left the country, some leaving behind their farms and others selling them. He said many do not want to return there because they fear being framed for crimes they did not commit.
He said that the investors have contacted the foreign ministries of both countries but have yet to get a response on the allegations. Saudi investors were facing similar problems in other countries, including Sudan, he claimed.

Human Rights Group Chides UK for Failing to Press Ethiopia to Release Andy Tsege

International human rights organization Reprieve is advocating for the release of a British man, who was arrested in Yemen and transported to Ethiopia, where he has been imprisoned for 15 months.

Reprieve chided the UK government for not using a high-level trade event with Ethiopia to demand the release of Andargachew “Andy” Tsege from prison.

The group criticized British officials for failing to harness the opportunity presented by the UK-Ethiopia Trade Investment Forum, which was staged in London on Wednesday, to request for Andy’s release.

Andy, a father of three, is of Ethiopian decent. In 2014, he was arrested during an airport stop in Yemen by local intelligence officials and then transported to Ethiopia.

Addis Ababa has accused Andy of being part of a terrorist organization seeking to destabilize Ethiopia by overthrowing the legitimate government.

Andy, who is the secretary-general of an Ethiopian opposition group based in the diaspora, has been sentenced to death. Like other outspoken critics of the Ethiopian government living in exile, Andy was tried in absentia.

Since his arrest, Andy has been held in a prison in Ethiopia, where he has reportedly been denied legal assistance and frequent consular services. He has also been unable to communicate with his family since his kidnap and detention.

The UN Human Rights Commissions (UNHRC), which has urged the Ethiopian government to release Andy, said this summer it feared that the Brit was being tortured.

According to reports, Andy, who was placed in solitary confinement, has recently been transferred to a new prison described as “Ethiopia’s gulag.”

“The UK government should be outraged by this behavior and should be responding in the strongest possible terms,” said Kevin Laue of Redress, a human rights organization.

The UK has come under serious criticism by rights groups who say officials have been slow in pursuing Andy’s immediate release. The Foreign Office has also been criticized for pressing Ethiopia for more consular access rather than his immediate release.

Andy’s wife and mother of his three children Yemi Hailemariam wrote an article to the Independent on Monday calling for his release. She pleaded with the Foreign Office and African Minster Grant Shapps MP to use the bilateral trading opportunity to press Ethiopia for Andy’s release.

“Philip Hammond’s Foreign Office has yet to as Ethiopia for his release. They still have not given me a reason why – but now I feel the question I have been asking for the past 15 months has been answered. Sir Simon McDonald, the top civil servant in the Foreign Office, recently admitted that human rights are no longer a ‘top priority’ as the government pursues a ‘prosperity agenda’ that puts trade interests above humanitarian principles,” Yemi wrote.

She added that the “Foreign Office has repeatedly told me that Andy’s case is a ‘priority’ – but in the meantime, it is clearly business as usual.”

Maya Foa, the head of Reprieve’s death penalty team, dismissed British officials for missing the trade meeting to press Ethiopia for Andy’s release.

በአዲስ አበባ በርካታ የመኖሪያ ቤቶችና የንግድ ድርጅቶች እየፈሩሰ ነው

ጥቅምት ፲ (አስር) ቀን ፳፻፰ ዓ/ም ኢሳት ዜና :-በተለያዩ የአዲስ አበባ አካባቢዎች የሚኖሩ ነዋሪዎች እንደገለጹት በአሜሪካ ጊቢ ፣ በአዲስ ከተማና በሌሎች አካባቢዎች የሚኖሩ ነዋሪዎች ለአመታት ከኖሩበት ቤት ያለበቂ ካሳ እና ተለዋጭ ቤት ቤቶቻቸው እየፈረሰባቸው ነው።
መንግስት ቤታቸው ለሚፈርስባቸው የኮንዶሚኒየም ቤቶችን ተላዋጭ አድርጎ ቢሰጥም፣ ተከራዮች ግን ኪራዩን የመክፈል አቅም የላቸውም መንግስት ከህዝቡ ጋር ሳይማከር የሚወስደው እርምጃ፣ ከፍተኛ የኑሮ ቀውስ እየፈጠረ መሆኑን ነዋሪዎች በምሬት ይናገራሉ በተመሳሳይ ዜና ደግሞ የመንግስት ቤቶች ኤጀንሲ የቀድሞ ኪራይ ቤቶች አስተዳደር በስሩ የሚገኙ ወደ 17 ሺ የሚጠጉ ቤቶች ቢኖሩትም ከግማሽ የማያንሱት መብቱ በሌላቸው ነዋሪዎች በመያዙ ለባለስልጣናትና ለሹማምንቶች አዲስ ቤት ለመስጠት ባለመቻሉ ምክንያት ቤቶቹን ከነዋሪዎች ለመረከብ ማቀዱ ተሰምቷል፡፡ የቤቱ ተከራዮች እንፈናቀላለን በሚል ከባድ ስጋት ላይ ወድቀዋል፡፡
የኤጀንሲው ምንጮች እንደተናገሩት በአዲስአበባና በክልሎች ከ17 ሺ በላይ ቤቶች ኤጀንሲው ያሉት ሲሆን፣ እነዚህ ቤቶች በተፈቀደላቸው የመንግስት ባለስልጣናት ወይንም ሹማምንት መያዝ ሲገባቸው ፣መብቱ በሌላቸው ሰዎች በመያዛቸው ምክንያት በአሁኑ ወቅት ለአዲስ ተሿሚዎች የመኖሪያ ቤት ለመስጠት አልተቻለም ፡፡
ይህን ተከትሎም ቀደም ሲል መብቱ የነበራቸው ነገርግን ከሃላፊነታቸው የተነሱ፣ ጡረታ የወጡ፣ የተዛወሩ ወይንም በሞት የተለዩ ተከራዮች የተረከቡትን ቤት መመለስ የሚገባቸው ቢሆንም፣ ቤቶቹን ካለመመለሳቸውም በተጨማሪ ለሌሎች ሶስተኛ ወገኞች በውክልና በማስተላለፍ፣ ቁልፍ በመሸጥ በሕገወጥ መንገድ ተጠቃሚ መሆናቸውን ኤጀንሲው ገልጿል፡፡ እነዚህ ወገኖችን በአስቸኳይ ውል አቋርጦ ቤቱን ለመረከብ እየተንቀሳቀሰ መሆኑን የኤጀንሲው ምንጭ አስታውቀዋል፡፡
ኤጀንሲው ቤት ወደማስለቀቅ እርምጃ ሲገባ ከህብረተሰቡ ከፍተኛ ተቃውሞ ሊነሳ ይችላል በሚል የፌዴራል ፖሊስ ድጋፍ መጠየቁም ታውቆአል፡፡
አጀንሲው በአሁኑ ወቅት ለማንኛውም ነዋሪ ቤት የማከራየት ግዴታ እንደሌለበትና ግዴታ ያለበት ለተፈቀደላቸው የመንግስት ሹማንምንት ቤት ለማከራየት መሆኑን የጠቀሰው ምንጭ፣ ከዚህ ውጪ በታሪክ አጋጣሚ ቤት የያዙ ሰዎች በሒደት እንዲለቁ መደረጋቸው የማይቀር ነው ብሎአል፡፡
የመንግስት ቤቶች ኤጀንሲ በስሩ ያሉትን የቤቶች ቁጥር እንኳን በቅጡ ባለማወቁ አንዳንድ ሰዎች የመንግስት ቤት በስማቸው እስከማዛወር የደረሱበት ክስተት አጋጥሟል።
አንዳንድ ያነጋገርናቸው የኤጀንሲው ቤት ተከራዮች በሰጡት አስተያየት በቤቶቹ ውስጥ ከ25 ዓመታት በላይ መቆየታቸውን በመጥቀስ ፣ ምትክ ቤት ሳይዘጋጅላቸው እነሱን አስወጥቶ ባለስልጣናትን ለማስገባት የታቀደው ነገር እውነት ከሆነ አሳዛኝና ኢትዮጵዊነትን የሚያስጠላ አስነዋሪ ተግባር ነው ሲሉ ኮንነውታል፡፡
እነዚህ መብት የላቸውም የተባሉ ዜጎች፣ በአገራቸው ቤት የመከራየት መብት ያላቸው ሲሆን፣ ለመንግስት ባለስልጣናት ለመስጠት ተብሎ መፈናቀላቸው በፖለቲካ ሹመኞችና በተራው ዜጋ መካከል ያለውን ልዩነት ያመላክታል ሲል ዘጋቢያችን አስተያየቱን አስፍሯል።

የመቶ አመቱ የቤት ስራ – ይገረም ዓለሙ

በቅድሚያ ፤ ብዕር እንደ ጠብ -መንጃ ታይቶ፤ መጻፍ አሸባሪ አሰኝቶ ለእስር የበቁት የዞን 9 ጦማሪያን ነጻ የመባላቸው ዜና አስደሳች ነው፡ይሁን እንጂ የእስር ቤቱን ቅጥር አልፈው እስካልወጡ ድረስ እነርሱንም ሆነ ቤተሰብ ወዳጅ ዘመድን እንኳን ደስ አላችሁ ለማለት ተሞክሮአችን አያስችለንምና እስኪወጡ መጠበቅ ሊኖርብን ነው፡፡

ከመነሻው ነጻነታቸው የሚታወቀው ጸኃፍት ነጻነት ዛሬ ይበልጥ የተረጋገጠ በመሆኑ በዚህ ጉዳይ ከዚህ በኋላ ለመከራከር የሚደፍር የሚኖር አይመስለኝም፡፡ በቂ ማስረጃ አለን በማለት ሲፎክሩ የነበሩት አቶ ኃይለማሪያምን ጨምሮ፡፡

አነጋጋሪ የሚሆነው ግን ይህ ፍርድ የተሰጠው በችሎቱ ነጻነትና በዳኞቹ ድፍረት፤ወያኔ የሚፈልገውን ስለፈጸመ፤ተቃውሞው ስለበረታ፤ አቅጣጫ ለማስቀየስና ወቅታዊውን ትኩሳት ለማብረድ፤ወይንስ ሌላ የሚለው ነው፡፡ በመሆኑም የችሎቱን ውሳኔ በጥለቀት ልናየውና ከምንደሰትበት በላይ ልንማርበት የሚገባ ይመስለኛል፡፡ ወደ ዛሬ ጉዳየ ልግባ፡፡

እንደ ዛሬው ሳይሆን ወያኔና ሻዕቢያን መለየት በማይቻልበትና ሁለቱም አስመራና አዲስ አበባ ቤተ መንግስት መግባታቸው የፈጠረባቸው የፖለቲካ ስካር ባልተነነበት ወቅት ኢትዮጵያውያንን ተውአቸው የመቶ አመት የቤት ስራ ሰጥተናቸዋል ማለታቸውን የምንረሳው አይመስለኝም፡፡ ያ ሰጥተናቸዋል ያሉት የቤት ስራ ብሄር ብሔረሰቦችና ሕዝቦች ብለው በፈጠሩልን ልዩነት ተከፋፍለንና በየመንደራችን ተቧድነን ልዩነት እንድናቀነቅን፣ ከትናንት የሀገራችን ታሪክ ለማለያያ ያስችላል ብለው እየመዘዙ የሚነግሩንን እየተቀበልን እንድንነታረክ፣በትናንት ተሸብበን በርስ በርስ ጥላቻ ተጋርደን ለዛሬ ምንም እነዳንሰራና ስለ ነገ አሸጋግረን እንዳናይ የሚያደርገን ነው፡፡ እኛ በዚህ በተሰጠን የቤት ስራ ተጠምደን ሰንዳክር እነርሱ የጫካ ስምምነታቸውን ከቤተ መንግሥት ሆነው ተግባራዊ ሊያደርጉ፤ የደም ትስስራቸውን በፖለቲካዊና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ጥቅም ሊያጠብቁና ሊያስጠብቁ ያለሙትም ነበር፡፡ ነገር ግን ፈጣሪ ኢትዮጵያን የዘነጋት ቢመስልም ጨርሶ አይረሳትምና እኛን እያጋጩ ሊኖሩ ያሰቡ እነርሱው ተጋጩና 10 አመትም ሳይቆዩ አያሌ ህይወት ለቀጠፈ የከፋ ጦርነት ተዳርገው ፍቅራቸው ያልበጀን በጠባቸው ለእሊቂት ዳረጉን፡፡

ወያኔ ከዛ ተምሮ ከጫካ ቅዠቱ ይወጣል፣ ከዘር ልክፍቱ ይገላገላል፣ ተብሎ ሲጠበቅ ከጦርነቱ እፎይታ ባገኘ ማግስት ይበሱን ባሰበት፡፡ ጦርነቱ አስገድዶት የዘመረውን አንድነት ረስቶ በጎሰኝነቱ ገፋበት፤ ያመነውን የኢትዮጵያን የረዥም ዘመን የነጻነት ታሪክ መልሶ ካደ፣ የጦርነቱን ድል የኢትዮጵውያን ሳይሆን የራሱ አደረገ፡፡ ከሻዕቢያ ጋር በጋራ የሰጡንን የመቶ አመት የቤት ስራም ለብቻው ቀጠለበት፡፡ ይሄው ተግባሩም በሥልጣን ለመቆየት አበቃው፡፡

ወያኔ ይህን ማድረጉ ከዚህ ውጪ በሥልጣን መቆየት እንደማይችል በማወቁ፣ ለሱ ሥልጣን በህዝብ ፈቃድ ከኮሮጆ ውጤት የሚገኝ ሳይሆን የሞት ሽረት ጉዳይ በመሆኑ፤ከልዩነት አንጂ ከአንድነት፤ ከጸብ እንጂ ከፍቅር የማያተርፍ በመሆኑ ነውና ወያኔን በቅጡ እስካወቅነው ድረስ ትናንት የፈጸማቸውም ሆኑ ዛሬም ሆነ ነገ የሚፈጽማቸው ድርጊቶቹ ብዙም የሚያስገርሙን አይደሉም፡፡ ሊሆኑም አይገባምም፡፡

ከማስገረም አልፎ አነጋጋሪና ጥያቄ አጫሪው ጉዳይ በማወቅም ይሁን ባለማወቅ ይህን የወያኔን የመቶ አመት የቤት ስራ ተግባራዊ በማድረግ ለወያኔ እድሜ መርዘም አስተዋጽኦ የሚያደርጉ ያውም ወያኔን በመቃወም መስዋዕትነት የሚከፍሉ ወይንም ተቀዋሚ ነን የሚሉ ወገኖች ጉዳይ ነው፡፡

የወያኔን አገዛዝ እንቃወማለን ብለው ፓርቲ መስርተውም ሆነ በየግላቸው አየታገሉ እንደሚገኙ የሚናገሩ ወገኖች ከትናንት ታሪካችን በጎውን አዳብረን በጎ ካልሆነው ተምረንና ተራርመን የትናንቱ ጥፋትም ሆነ ስህተት ዛሬ እንዳይደገም በመንገዳችንም ላይ አንቅፋት እየሆነ እንዳያስቸግር ወደ ትውልድም አንዳያሸጋገር ማድረግ የሚቻልበትን መላ ሊመቱ በተገባ ነበር፡፡ ነገር ግን ላል የማይባል ቁጥር ያላቸው ወገኖች በአያት ቅድመ አያቶቻችን ግዜ የተሰሩ ተብለው የተጻፉ ወይንም የተወሩ ነገሮችን እየመዘዙ መካሰስ መወቃቅስን ስራ ብለው ተያይዘውታል፡፡ ይህም የወያኔን የመቶ አመት የቤት ስራ መስራትና እንቃወመዋለን ለሚሉት ሀይል እድሜ መርዘም መጠቀም ነው ፡፡

ትኩረቱን ምርጫ 2007 ላይ አድርጎ ረገብ ያለ መስሎ የነበረው በዛሬ ላይ ሳይሆን በትናንት ትናንት በስቲያ ድርጊቶች ላይ መነታረክና ሲብስ መዘላለፍ ከምርጫው በኋላ ተባብሶ ቀጥሎአል፡፡ ከዛ በፊት ብዙም ጎልቶ አይሰማ የነበረ አማራነትም ተስፋፍቷል፡፡በማህበራዊ መገናኛዎች የሚጻፉትን ለተመለከተ አንዳንዶች ሌት ተቀን የሚያስቡት ስለ ልዩነት ይመስላል፡፡

ኢትዮጵያ ለሶስት ሺህ ዘመን የዘለቀው የነጻነት ታሪኳ ምንም እንከን ያልነበረበት ነው ብሎ የሚከራከር ያለ አይመስለኝም፡፡በታሪክ ውስጥ ለጥሩውም ሆነ ለመጥፎው ግንባር ቀደም ተጠቃሾች መኖራቸውም አሌ አይባልም፡፡እነዛ አባት እናቶቻችን ደግሞ አልፈዋል፡፡ እናም በጎ ተግባራቸውን እያወደስንና አጠንክረን እየቀጠልን ለትውልድ አንዲተላለፍ ማድረግ ፣ጥሩ ላልነበረው ታሪካችን ደግሞ አሁን ተጠያቂም ተከሳሽም የሚሆን የለምና ሂሳብ ለማወራረድ ሳይሆን ለመተማመንና ለዛሬ መንገዳችን አንቅፋት እንዳይሆን፤ ለትውልድም እንዳይተላለፍ ለማድረግ አንድ ቦታ ለማቆም የሚያስችል መላ መምታት ነው የሚበጀው፡፡

ለችግሮች መፍትሄ መፈለግ ሲያቅት ወይንም የነበሩ ችግሮችን አግዝፎና አክፍቶ በማውራት ትርፍ የሚገኝ መስሎ ሲታሰብ ስራው ሁሉ የመፍትሄ ሀሳብ ሳያቀርቡ እነዛኑ ችግሮች መልሶ ቀልሶ ማውራት ይሆናል፡፡ ይህን በማድረግ የወያኔን እድሜ ከማራዘም ውጪ አንድ ስንዝር ውጤት ባለፉት ሀያ አራት ኣመታት አልታየም፡፡ነገር ግን ሂደቱ ቀጥሏል፡፡ እንደውም በአደገኛ ሁኔታ ወደ ወጣቱ ተሸጋግሯል፡፡

የትናንት ድርጊት ለአሁኑ ትውልድ መማሪያ እንጂ መነታረኪያ መሆን አልነበረበትም ፡፡ ትናንት ለዛሬ መጥፎውንም ሆነ ጥሩውን አውርሶ አልፏል፡፡ ሀገር የሚያድገው ከትናንት ጥሩውን አዳብሮ መጥፎውን አርሞ፤የጎደለውን አሟልቶ፤ ከዘመኑ ጋር እየተራመዱ በመስራት እንጂ የትናንቶቹ በዘመናቸው የሰሩትን እያነሱ በመውቀስና በመካሰስ አይደለም፡፡

መክሮ የሚመልስ ሽማግሌ ጠፍቶ፤አስተምሮም ሆነ ገዝቶ የጥፋትን መንገድ የሚያስቆም የሀይማኖት አባት ከእየእምነቱ ታጥቶ፤ በትናንት ታሪክ ተግባብቶ ለዛሬ ተግባር መተማመን ለመፍጠር የሚያስችል ተግባር የሚከውኑ ምሁራንና ፖለቲከኞች አልታይ ብለው ወዘተ ስራችን በአብዛኛው ካለፈውና ካለው የበሳ ችግር ሊያመጣ የሚችል ሆኗል፡፡

ልዩነታችን ጌጣችን፣ አንድነታችን ኃይላችን መሆኑን አምነን በጋራ ሊያስኬደን የሚችል የመስማሚያ መንገድ ከመቀየስ ይልቅ ሆድና ጀርባ የሚያደርገንን ነገር መፈለጉ ለምን እንደሚቀለን ግራ ያጋባል፡፡ ከየትውልድ ድርሻን አንዱንም ሳንከውን ሌላው ቢቀር ነጻነቷ የተከበረ ዳር ደንበሯ የታፈረ ሀገር ያቆዩንን አያት አባቶቻችንን ለማውገዝና በእነርሱ የተሰራውን ለመኮነን ልበ ሙሉ ደፋሮች መሆናችን ያስገርማል፡፡ ከአባቶቻችን የተረከብናትን ሀገር የህግ የበላይነት የተረጋገጠባትና ሰብአዊ መብት የተከበረባት ዴሞክራሲያዊት ሀገር ማድረግ ቀርቶ በተረከብናት ወርድና ስፋት ማቆየት ያልቻልን ትውልዶች የትናንቶቹን ለመውቀስ ለመክሰስ አንዴት እንደፍራለን፡፡ ዛሬ ሊኖረን የሚገባውን መልካም ግንኙነት ትናንትን እየጠቀስንና እያወሳን ማበላሸትና በጥርጣሬ እየተያየን ሆድና ጀርባ ሆነን እንድንቆም ስናደርግ ወያኔ የሰጠንን የመቶ አመት የቤት ስራ እየሰራን መሆናችንን አስበነው እናውቅ ይሆን፡፡

ስነ ልቦናችንን ያጠናው ደካማ ጎናችንንም የተረዳው ወያኔ በየግዜው አዲስ የሚመስሉ ግን ያልሆኑ ነገሮችን እየሰጠን፤ እንዲሁም እኛኑ መስለው ቁስላችንን እያከኩ የሚያደሙ አርበኞችን በመካከላችን እያስገባ፤ ልዩነታችን አንዲሰፋ ቅራኔያችን አንዲባባስ በማድረግ እድሜውን አስረዝሟል፡፡

በምንም ሁኔታ ግን ለዚህ ተግባራችን ወያኔን ተጠያቂ ማድረግ የለብንም፡፡ ምክንያቱም የመቶ አመት የቤት ስራ ሰጥቻቸዋለሁ ሲል ምን እንደሆነና እንዴትና በምን ሁኔታ ተግባራዊ እንደሚያደርገው ተገንዝቦ ከወጥመዱ ማምለጥ የእኛ ድርሻ ነውና፡፡ ይም ቢቀር ሀያ አራት ዓመት ቀላል ግዜ አይደለምና በተግባር ከሚፈጽመው ተረድተን ከራሳችን አድራጎትም ተምረን የወያኔን የቤት ስራ በመስራት ለእሱ ዕድሜ አራዛሚ ካደረገን ተግባራችን መታቀብ መቻል የእኛ ስራ ነውና፡፡

ስለሆነም በትናንት እየተነታረክን የዛሬ መንገዳችንን ከማደነቃቀፍና የነገውንም ተስፋ ከማጨለም በትናንት ተነጋግሮ መተማመን የሚፈጠርበት ለወደፊቱም በመተማመንና በመከበባር በእኩልነት መኖር የሚስችል ዴሞክራሲያዊ ሥርዓት ለመመስረት መትጋቱ ነው የሚበጅ፡፡ እንጅማ ወያኔ በሰጠን የመቶ አመት የቤት ስራ ባለፈ ነገር እየነታረኩ ከወያኔን አገዛዝ መላቀቅ የማይታሰብ ነው፡፡ ለመሆኑ የቱ ይቀድማል ያለፈው ሥርዓት በአያት አባቶቻችን ላይ አደረሰ የሚባለው ወይንስ የዛሬው ገዢ በእኛ ላይ የሚያደርሰው ፡፡

የዘር ዝናር የታጠቀ ሳይሆን ኢትጵያዊ ግርማ ሞገስ የተላበሰ፣በጠብ-መንጃ ሳይሆን በምርጫ ኮሮጆ ውጤት ለሥልጣን የበቃ በሕዝብ የታመነና በህዝብ የሚተማመን ዴሞክራሲያዊ መንግሥት መመስረት ቢቻል ፤ ሀገራዊ መሰረቶችን ለማጽናት፤እኩልነትን ለማረጋገጥ፤አብሮነትን ለማጎልበት ወዘተ የሚነሱ ጥያቄዎች ሁሉ ይመከርባቸዋል መልስ ይፈለግላቸዋል፤ በዚህም የታሪካችን መጥፎ ገጽታ ወደ ትውልድ እየተሸጋገረ የልዩነት ምክንያት መሆኑ አንዲያበቃ በመተማመን ቤተ መዘክር እንዲቀመጥ መልካሙም እንዲጎለብት ማድረግ ይቻላል፡፡ ስለሆነም ለዛ የሚያበቃንን ዴሞክራሲያዊ ሥርዓት ማግኘት ቀዳሚው አጀንዳ ቢሆንስ?

ላለፉት 10 አመታት ኢትዮጵያ 11.2 በመቶ በማደግ በዓለም ፈጣን እድገት እያሳዩ ከሚገኙ ጥቂት ሀገራት መካከል አንዷ እንደሆነችና መካከለኛ ገቢ ያላቸው ሀገራት ጋር ልትመደብ እንደሆነ ሲናገር የነበረው ኢህአዴግ መራሹ መንግስት የኢኮኖሚ ውድቀት እንዳጋጠመው አመነ፡፡ የብሔራዊ የፕላን ኮሚሽን በመስከረም ወር 2008 ዓ.ም የሁለተኛውን አምስት አመት የዕድገትና ትራንስፎርሜሽን ዕቅድ (ከ2008-2012 ዓ.ም) ላይ ለመወያየት ያዘጋጀው ረቂቅ ሰነድ እንደሚያሳየው በተለይም መንግስት ለኢኮኖሚው አንቀሳቃሽ ሞተር ነው የሚለው የግብርና ዘርፍ፣ የውጭ ንግድና የማኑፋክቼሪንግ ኢንዱስትሪው ውድቀት አጋጥሞታል፡፡

‹‹በአጠቃላይ በተጠናቀቀው የእድገትና ትራንስፎርሜሽን እቅድ ዘመን የተመዘገበው የኢኮኖሚ መዋቅራዊ ሽግግር ከሚጠበቀው አንፃር ዝቅተኛ ነው፡፡ የኢኮኖሚው መዋቅር ለውጥ ከማረጋገጥ አንፃር የተመዘገበው አፈፃፀም ዝቅተኛ ነው፡፡›› ያለው ሰነዱ የኢኮኖሚ መዋቅሩ ከሳህራ በታች ከሚገኙ ሀገራትም ያነሰ እና በጣም ዝቅተኛ መሆኑን አስምሮበታል፡፡ በኢኮኖሚው ችግር ምክንያትም ስራ አጥነት ከከተሞች አልፎ በገጠረ አካባቢዎችም ሰፊ ችግር እንደሆነም ተመልክቷል፡፡

ከሸቀጦች የወጪ ንግድ ይገኛል ተብሎ የተገመተው ገቢ በ2006 ዓ.ም ከነበረውም ያልተለየ፣ ከዚህ ገቢ የተገኘው የገቢ ንግድ (import) ወጪን የመሸፈን አቅሙም በ2007 ዓ.ም ከአለፈው ጊዜ ያነሰ ነው ያለው ሰነዱ፤ በወጪ ንግድ ገቢ (export) ወጪ እና በገቢ ንግድ ((import) ወጪ ያለው ክፍተትና ጉድለት እየሰፋ መጥቶ በ2007 ዓ.ም አሳሳቢ ደረጃ ላይ ደርሷል ብሏል፡፡ የታየው ደካማ የውጭ ንግድ አፈፃፀም አስተማማኝ የውጭ ምንዛሬ በማግኘት ኢኮኖሚውን ለማሳደግ፣ ከውጭ ብድርና እርዳታ ጥገኝነት ለመላቀቅ ለሚደረገው ጥረት ማነቆ እንደሆነ በሰነዱ ላይ ሰፍሯል፡፡

የውጭ ንግድ መዳከም የውጭ ምንዛሬ ለሚፈልጉትና አቀድኳቸው ላላቸው የመሰረተ ልማት፣ የኢንዱስትሪና የማህበራዊ ልማት እንዳይሳኩ እየፈጠረው ያለው እንቅፋት አሳሳቢ ደረጃ ላይ ደርሷል ብሏል፡፡ ለውጭ ገቢ ንግድ መዳከም በዋነኛነት የማምረት አቅም አለማደግ፣ የማኑፋክቸሪንግና የግብርና ሸቀጦች በመጠን፣ በአይነትም፣ በጥራት ማምረት አለመቻሉ እንደሆነ በሰነዱ ላይ ተገልፆአል፡፡

በትራንስፎርሜሽን ዕቅዱ መጨረሻ ለውጭ ገበያ ይቀርባል ተብሎ የነበረው ቡና ሩብ ያህሉን እንኳን ማቅረብ አልተቻለም ያለው ሰነዱ በመጀመሪያው የእድገትና ትራንስፎርሜሽን እቅድ መጨረሻ ለውጭ ገበያ ይቀርባሉ ተብሎ የነበሩት የአበባ፣ የጨርቃጨርቅና የቆዳ ምርቶችም በቡና ገበያ ላይ ከታየውም በላይ ክፍተት እንደነበረበት በዝርዝር አስቀምጧል፡፡

ሰነዱም ‹‹በግብርና ዘርፍ የኤክስፖርት ሰብሎች የሆኑት አበባ፣ አትክልትና ፍራፍሬ፣ ቡና፣ ሰሊጥና የጥራጥሬ ሰብሎች ሲሆኑ ለውጭ ገበያ የቀረበው መጠን ይደረጋል ተብሎ ከታቀደው በእጅጉ ያነሰና በማኑካፍቼሪንግ ነባር ኢንዳስትሪዎችና በከፍተኛ አቅማቸውና በጥራት እንዲያመርቱ፣ በተጨማሪም አዳዲስ ኢንቨስትመንትን በስፋትና በጥራት መልምሎ ወደ ሥራ ማስገባት በታቀደው ልክ ሊፈፀም ባለመቻሉ ለወጪ ንግድ የማምረት አቅማችን ዝቅተኛ መሆኑን ዋና ምክንያቶች ነበሩ›› ብሏል፡፡

መንግስት በታክስ አሰባሰብም ትልቅ ክፍተት እንዳለበት ያመነው ሰነዱ ‹‹ከሰሃራ በታች ያሉ የአፍሪካ ሀገራት አማካይ አፈፃፀም ለመድረስ በታክስ አስተዳደርና አሰባሰብ ተጨማሪ ጥረት ማደረግ እንዳለብን ያመለክታል፡፡ መሰብሰብ የሚችለው የታክስ ገቢ አለመሰብሰቡ መስራት የሚቻለውን ያህል የልማት ሥራ በዛው ልክ ሳይሰራ ቀርቷል ማለት እንደሆ ከልብ ሊጤን ይገባዋል›› ብሏል፡፡

በአዲስ አበባ ዛሬ ቦሌ ሚካኤል አካባቢ ፈንጂ ተገኘ በሚል የወያኔ ደህነቶችና ፖሊሶች ወከባ ሲፈጥሩ ዋሉ

አምባሳደር ቪኪ ሐልድስተን ከዚህ ቀደም የስርኣቱ ደህነቶች ራሳቸው ፈንጂ ጠምደው ማፈንዳታቸውን መናገራቸውን ዊክሊክስ አጋልጦ ነበር

ህብር ሬዲዮ-ላስ ቬጋስ) በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ በቦሌ ክ/ከተማ ወረዳ 01 በልዩ ስሙ ቦሌ ሚካኤል ታክሲ ማዞሪያ ተብሎ በሚጠራው አካባቢ ከኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ ፊት ለፊት በሩ አካባቢ ዛሬ አርብ መስከረም 7 ቀን 2008 ከቀኑ 5 ሰዓት ተኩል ጀምሮ አነስተኛ ፈንጂ ተገኘ ተብሎ ህዝቡ በፖሊሶች ከአካባቢው እንዲርቅ በማድረግ ብዛት ያላቸው ደኅንነቶችና ፖሊሶች አካባቢው ተቆጣጥረውት መዋላቸውን የህብር ሬዲዮ ምንጮች ከስፍራው ገለጹ።

ህዝቡም ግማሹ በድንጋጤ ሲሯሯጥ አንዳንዱ ‹‹ይሄማ የተለመደ ድራማ ነው!›› በማለት ችላ ብሎ ውሸት በመሆኑ ተጠግቶ ለማየት ሲሞክር ፖሊሶቹም ግማሾቹ እየሳቁ ‹‹ እረ ሂዱ ›› በማለት በፌዝ ህዝቡን ሲያባሩ ማየታቸውን እነዚሁ ምንጮግ ገልጸው በዚህ ሳቢያ ንጹሃን ተወንጅለው ቢታሰሩ ያስገርማል ሲሉ ከወዲሁ ምንጮቻችን ስጋታቸውን ገልጸዋል።

የደኅንነት አባሎችና የአካባቢው የቀበሌ ሰራተኞች ከፈንጂ መከላከያ ልዩ ልብስ የተሰራላቸው ይመስል ፈንጂው አጠገብ በመቆም ለፈንጂውም ለኢህአዲግም ታማኝነታቸውን ለማሳየት የሚጥሩ አስመስለውት ነበር፡፡ በአካባቢው በድብቅ ለኢህአዲግ ሲሰሩ የነበሩ ሰዎችም በዛሬው ቀን ሰፊው ህዝብ እያንዳንዱን ባንዳ ለመለየት ችሏል ያሉት እነዚሁ ምንጮች አንዳንዶቹም አውቀውትም ሆነ ሳያውቁት ከደኅንነቶችን ጋር ሰላም በመባባል ማንነታቸውን አጋልጠዋል ሲሉ የታዘቡትን ጭምር ተቅሰዋል።

ፈንጂ የተባለውን ማን እንዳየው ለማጣራት የህብር ምንጮች ተጨማሪ የማጣራት ሙከራ ባገኙት መረጃ ፈንጂ ተብሎ የነበረው አረንጓዴ ከለር ያለውና አይተውት የማያውቁት ነገር ከሳይክል አጠገብ በማየታቸው በዕለቱ ተረኛ የነበሩት የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ ጥበቃ ደንግጠው መናገራቸውን ለማወቅ ተችሏል፡፡ የፀረ ሽብር ሃይል በፍጥነት መጥቶ ካሜራውን ደግኖ የተመከሩ ፖሊሶችና ደኅንነቶችን በመቅረጽ ህዝቡ ላይ የስነ ልቦና ጫና ለማድረግ ሞክረዋል፡፡ በዕለቱም የቦሌ ክፍለ ከተማ አየር መንገድ አካባቢ ፖሊስ ጣቢያ ዋና ኃላፊ የሆኑት እና ፈላጭ ቆራጭ እየሆኑ የመጡት ኮማንደር ታፈረ ተጠምቀ ከወትሮው ለየት ባለ ሁኔታ አዲስ በአይነቱም በይዘቱም ልዩ ልብስ ለብሰወው ቦታው ላይ በመገኘት ቃለ መጠይቅ ሲደረግላቸው ነበር፡ ያሉት እነዚሁ የዜና ምንጮቻችን ህዝቡና ፖሊሶች እንዲህም ደኅንነቶች በዚህ ሁኔታ ሰዉ ተፋጠው ቢቆሙም ከፎቁ ላይ ልጅ እግር ወጣት በመውረድ ወደ አቆማት ሳይክል ሲሄድ ሁሉም ሲጮህ ነሁኔታው ግራ የተጋባው ወጣት ‹‹ምንድን ነው?›› ብሎ ወደ ህዝቡ ቢያይ ‹‹ ከሳይክል ስር ፈንጂ አለ ዘወር በል›› ቢሉት ካሳይክል በታች ያለው የተቀመጠውን የሚያውቀው እቃ በመሆኑ ፈንጂ አይደለም ቀለል ያለ ኤሌክትሮኒክስ መሆኑን በአደባባይ ሲናገር ፖሊሶችና ደኅንነቶች በፍጥነት ያለምንም ጥያቄ ሳይክሉንና ልጁን በፖሊስ መኪና ይዘውት ወደ አልታወቀ ቦታ ሄደዋል፡፡ ነገሩ እንደታወቀ ሲያዩ እና ሁኔታው አላምር ሲላቸው ህዝቡን በታትነውታል፡፡

የፕ/ት ኦባማን የኢትዮጵያ ጉዞ ተከትሎ <> በሚል ሀሰተኛ ክስ የታሰረውን ጋዜጠኛ ሀብታሙ ምናለ ላይ አስቀድሞ ጭምር ክትትል ሲያደርጉና ከቤትም አስውጥተው እስር ቤት የወሰዱት ምርመራ ሲያደርጉበት የነበሩ ደኅንነቶች የዛሬው <> የድራማው መሪ ተዋናይ ሆነው መዋላቸውን እነዚሁ የህብር ምንጮች ጨምረው ገልጸዋል ፡፡

ስለ ሁኔታው ከአካባቢው እማኞች መካከል አንዳንዶች ሁኔታውን በመታዘብ ደግሞ ይሄን አሳበው ማንን ለማሰር እንደፈለጉ አልታወቀም፡፡ እንደለመዱት ሱማሌያውያንና ማፈሳቸው አይቀርም ለእራሳችንም ግን ያሳጋል ሲሉ ከወዲሁ ድራማው የተፈለገው ለአፈና መሆኑን ግምታቸውን ሰጥተዋል። ፈንጂ ተገኘ የተባለበት አካባቢ በአሁኑ ሰዓት የተለመደውን ተግባሩን በማከናወን ላይ ይገኛል፡፡

ሰሞኑን ከኤርትራ የከዱትን የትህዴን የቀድሞ ሊቀመንበር ታጋይ ሞላ አስግዶም መዋሰት አቅቷቸው በተደጋጋሚ ሲደናገሩ በታየበት መግለጫ ላይ የኤርትራ መንግስት ግንቦት ሰባትን ጨምሮ በአገሩ ያሉ በኢትዮጵያ ለውጥ እንዲመጣ ነፍጥ ያነሱ የነጻነት ተዋጊዎችን በማሰማራት ለሽብር ይልካል ሲሉ መክሰሳቸውን ተከትሎ ስርዓቱ የሆነ ነገር እንዳያፈነዳ የሚል ግምት ሲሰጥ መቆየቱ ይታወሳል።

ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ እ.ኤ.አ ሴፕተምበር 16 ቀን 2006 በአዲስ አበባ ካራ ቆሬ አካባቢ በቤት ውስጥ የኦነግ አባል ሳይሆኑ ናቸው የተባሉና በቤት ውስጥ በያዙት ፈንጂ ፈንድቶባቸው ሞቱ የተባሉትና ኦነግና የኤርትራ መንግስት አፈነዱት በተባለው ሶስቱም በሕጋዊ መንገድ የተቋቋመውና በጊዜው ዶ/ር መረራ ጉዲና የሚመሩት የኦሮሞ ሕዝብ ኮንግረስ(ኦብኮ) አባል በመሆናቸው አስቀድሞ በስርዓቱ በፈጠራ ወንጀል የታሰሩ ሲሆኑ የፈነዳውን ሆን ተብሎ በህወሃት-ኢህአዴግ አገዛዝ መሆኑን ዊክሊክስ የአሜሪካ ኤምባሲ የጊዜው ጉዳይ ፈጻሚ ሆኑት ቪኪ ሐድልስተን(Vicki J. Huddleston) ለመንግስታቸው የላኩትን የምስጢር መረጃ ማጋለጡ ይታወሳል።

በዛሬው የአዲስ አበባ የፈንጂ ተገኘ ድራማ የአገዛዙ መገናኛ ብዙሃን ምን ብለው የስርዓቱን የፈጠራ ውሸት እንደሚያቀርቡ እየጠበቅን ነው ሲሉ የህብር ሬዲዮ ምንጮች ከስፍራው ገልጸዋል።
