Arbegnoch Ginbot 7 (AG7), Tigray People's Democratic Movement (TPDM), and Amhara Democratic Force Movement (ADFM) have been directed by the Eritrean regime to form a coalition, according to ER sources in Eritrea.
Two senior leaders of AG7, Dr Berhanu Nega and Ato Neamin Zeleke, are currently in Asmara.
The AG7-TPDM-ADFM coalition's political wing will be headed by Dr Berhanu while the military wing will be headed by Ato Molla Asgedom, ER sources report.
AG7 and ADFM combined have less than 100 members on the ground, while TPDM has over 40,000 armed and well-trained members.
AG7 has been pushing for Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) and Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) to be included in the coalition, but the Eritrean regime (Shabia) has refused.
ER sources added that Shabia is preparing to launch a guerrilla-style and asymmetrical warfare with TPDM and its own forces before the rainy season is over. Shabia believes that it can cripple Woyanne's military during the next few months when it is able to respond only by air. Woyanne tanks and artillery will be useless during the rainy season, according to military analysts. Targets will include lightly protected factories, bridges, and key supply routes. More details later...
